How annoying and data consuming can internet advertisement be?
Pretty much everyone hates this core Google money making business. Once you click on almost every article and website online you have preloaded ads on the webpages some even with videos playing. This hurts especially when you have a limited data plan as it eats into your monthly data budget.
I personally came up with a strategy of loading the article or website then immediately switching-of my data or WiFi before the ad loads.
This is not sustainable.
The solution I am about to show you not only blocks these Ads, it gives you an extra layer of security from Google invasive privacy intrusions.
Let's get down to it.
Get your smartphone.
Go to your phone settings.
Search DNS.
Click on private dns.
Enter "dns.adguard.com" as the host name.
Save and exit.
Viola you've blocked Ads from your browsing experience without installing any app or adding extensions.
I have not had the chance to test this on Apple devices if they work too. Android fully tested. This only works for online ads and not Youtube Ads.
It does block some in-app Ads, so save money on the purchase of the Ads free premium package.
Enjoy your browsing experience!
